the number of available homes is increasing alongside mortgage interest
rates that have gone from the 2%, 3% and 4% range to 6% and 7%! Sellers
have seen their home
values skyrocket and are using the equity to leverage a move up or cashing
out as they transition to independent living or assisted care facilities or in
some cases, purchasing homes with their children so they can be closer to their
grandchildren while helping their children afford a home that accommodates
everyone. Buyers on the other hand are still coming to grips with the reality of
50% increases in mortgage rates that are not likely to return to what we just
